i still might eventually get it some day because it just sounds good. The orchestral library is much bigger than the average pack so i get that being priced differently, but if it dropped, i'd probably pick it up (though i'm disappointed they went through the trouble of adding all these latin percussion and didn't do cajon). give me a reason to give you money, you guys. i could be talked into it if they were priced to move, but that's not what they do. and when you toss in those ezxs i still like, buying new stuff gets harder to justify. sounds silly, but i guess i don't want to pay the same amount for the old stuff everyone has been using all this time.Īnd if i look hard enough, i can get pretty much anything i need (or close enough) from the included superior drummer libraries at least as a decent starting point to manipulate. if it's one of those fun little behind the scenes thing, maybe i'm listening. if the demo is from a older version of sd, nope (two maybe, one nope). if there isn't a video demo on their site, forget it. but a quick search to see when demos started appearing on youtube, and if it's older than a certain nebulous date in the semi recent past, i kinda lose a little interest, for whatever reason. but decades and fields of rock seem fun, so i'm asking.Ĭlick to expand.yeah, it's hard for me to get worked up over something that was made back in 2006, especially when it's priced the same as their latest stuff. i tend to like acoustic/singer songwriter friendly stuff, or brutal stuff (though not exactly modern), and both of those bases are pretty well covered already, so it's easy to stay away. any must have classic sdxs? custom and vintage, maybe? already have music city and indiependent and several ezxs i hardly use anymore, because i'm fancy now (and the standard superior drummer kits). not that i want to pay that much, either, but you know. aside from getting it elsewhere (thomann has been the cheapest for me, historically), do you think prices will come down any further? are there black friday deals afoot, or is this as good as it's going to get?Ĥ0% off the classic sdxs isn't earth shattering i'd rather get the 3 for $350 bundle and pick anything I want, including the new stuff. nothing too exciting pricewise, but i was vaguely curious about new sdx packs, and i'm always interested in new midi. I see toontrack has a generic sale going on for november and december.
#Do ezdrummer midi packs go on sale password
We have opened a discussion thread in the Pub section discussing this. We will include a very detailed password checklist. We want to highly recommend that members turn on and use TGP's two-factor authentication option. We highly recommend every member reading this change their passwords as a precaution. We have forced email revalidation for all members that have not signed on for a while. None of the accounts compromised were using two-factor authentication. Talking to one member as I am working through getting his account back in order, he informed me that his Apple password manager had been compromised and made available on the dark web. In today's world, that is false confidence you can no longer afford.Įvery account that I've restored so far to the original owner was using compromised passwords. It is heartbreaking to see that the lure of saving some money will still fool people into using those methods to save a few dollars. Unfortunately, we cannot control how members do deals. However, the best way to prevent this is for members to exercise proper password hygiene (which I'll detail below), turn on two-factor authentication, and - I implore every single person here - only use payment methods that have buyer protection.

We've made security changes that I don't want to detail here to stop them. They have scammed members in the Emporiums by creating ads with stolen photos and requesting Paypal F&F or Venmo exclusively for payment. Some fraudsters have compromised TGP accounts have in the past few days.
